This is
a program designed for new management staff. It complements the
general BMC employee orientation by providing opportunities for
managers to learn about Borgess and its resources. One aspect
of the program is a series of meetings with leaders from many
departments that are important for new managers to access in the
course of their roles. These are scheduled at time of hire by
the HR department. A schedule is given to the manager and an email
confirms the sessions for which the manager is registered and
expected by the presenter. Other components of orientation include
assignment of partner for managers who are new to Borgess, as
well as a structured list of tasks to be completed by the new
managers supervisor.
Provides fundamental content about management at Borgess and
is mandatory (one time) for BMC Managers.
