| Pre-Requisite | Individuals registering must have a current PALS card. A copy of this card Must accompany your registration. |
| Description | Is a nationally recognized training program designed by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The material will be covered in lectures, demonstrations, scenarios and practice, but study prior to the course is essential. Topics to be covered will include Pediatric Drugs, and Fluid Therapy, Newborn Resusciation, Recognition of Shock & Respiratory Failure, and Pediatric Trauma. Skill stations presnet the opportnity to demonstrate BLS/Bag Mask, Vascular Access, Cardiac Rhythm Disturbances, and Intubation |
