MG Taylor Models
MGtaylor Models and axioms are often used to illustrate ideas during discussions which are scribed. It's helpful if you can memorize a couple of the more commonly used models, like Scan, Focus, Act or the Vantage Points model.
Use cheat sheets. In general it's pretty hard to remember very many of the models or even the finer points of a few. This is where cheat sheets come in. Make yourself a tiny copy which you can carry up to the board and work from. There's no shame in using a cheat sheet in this way, as long as you're not distracting and obvious about it.
Check the strawdog or with the facilitator before the session starts and find out if any models are going to be used. You may have time to draw it completely or at least partially before everyone sits down. If not, at least you know what's coming. You may even be able to impress the audience with the way you "read the mind" of the speaker and began to draw the model even before it's mentioned!
