  • connect with pf to ensure that this information is accurate
  • proofread everything! multiple times, multiple eyes
name tags
  • art work for the name tags created by the graphics team
  • design background art to contrast with the text on the name tags
  • name tags must be easily legible from a distance
  • name tags art may be combined with the name list by the graphics team or other knowledge worker on the KreW
  • identify knowledge worker to be main point of contact for spelling changes on the nametags during the event
  • name tags are created for KreW and participants
  • for a large/multi-day event with a sponsor team from outside Borgess, name tags for the sponsors and facilitation team may be helpful for the walk-thru day.

welcome wall

  • reflects the theme of the event
  • welcome wall is refreshed for each event day
breakout plaques
  • connect with pf and KreW on team names for the participants
  • choose names that reinforce event theme

assignment headers

  • design a common header for all assignments or individual headers for each module--your call
  • header should include event name, event dates and event sponsors' names. (in this case sponsor refers to--Borgess NavCenter in collaboration with MG Taylor Corporation)
format assignments

  • establish a format style for all assignments
  • insert assignment header and format assignment text received from the writing team
  • if the writing team chooses to format their own assignments, headers still need to be provided by the graphics team and the format style communicated to writing team to maintain a consistent visual theme throughout the event.
  • in some instances the writing team may have a graphic that they wish to reuse. In this case the graphics team may still need to add event info to the header and prep graphic for assignment formatting (i.e. file type, image size).
wall scribing
  • for large group dialogs in the radiant room and at others appropriate or requested times
wall photos (for take-a-panels and other wall scribing)
  • connect with the pf and production team on what wall scribing is to be captured and archived for the event
  • be familiar with the digital camera to capture the best possible images
  • taking care with wall photos will save lots of time post-event.
wall copy
  • if wall scribing doesn't allow for an adequate photograph (small script or all one light color :\ ), know how to do proper wall copy to be included in the journal/work product in place of photographs
hypertile capture
  • hypertiles may be scanned or photographed depending on quantity, resources, and image complexity--your call
  • be prepared for whichever process is necessary
file naming and saving
  • connect with production team on file naming convention and proper place to save files
journal/work product layout design/graphics
  • collaborate with the facilitation team and sponsors on theme and content of work product
  • arrange for hand-off procedures from all knowledge workers contributing to the work product
  • provide graphics assistance for journal assembly team
