An
effective knowledge wall is one which...
- establishes
a "conversation" where people can put ideas, suggestions,
comments, and even carry on a conversation in the public domain
that doesn't require electronic media.
- engages
the visitor with powerful images, words, and pictures that draws
them into the content.
- challenges
with new ideas, or the juxtaposition of seemingly opposing ones.
- leads
to several levels of interaction.
--at the broadest level, the wall may contain a large graphic
or quote that echoes the theme of the event
--a finer level of detail is available to those who read an article
or excerpt from a book that is posted on the wall
- develops
over the course of an event.
- keeps
the wall alive with the continuous addition of participant photos,
team reports, dialogue quotes, etc.
