Welcome! This web site is being provided as a tool for implementation of a 3-year Management Development goal for Borgess Health. Under this goal, Management Development is defined as the process and set of tools that enable great managers to fulfill the mission, vision and values of Borgess Health in ongoing, everyday interactions with the employees they supervise, their peers, and the customers they service.

Management development is accomplished through a broad set of interrelated processes that extend beyond just education to also include hiring, coaching, evaluation, retention strategies, etc. It is interactive and dynamic: adapts to changing conditions, depends on personal interaction, and requires reinforcement on the job. Success requires that it becomes everyone’s personal responsibility through constant self-awareness about knowledge, skills and talents, completion and reinforcement of development plans for all, and ensuring our capacity to provide ongoing feedback.

The Management Development resource page provides you with links to seminars, classes and on-line courses related to management development. Click on a link to get more information.
