Borgess Navigation Center Receives Award (December 2003)

The Borgess Navigation Center and its staff, as well as BHA Executive VP Pat Dyson, have received a Special Commendation from the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). The commendation is to recognize their contribution to the development of Navigation Centers in the VA, which the VA calls Learning Xchange Center/Satellite. The recipients were cited for "their exemplary commitment to sharing their local know-how that has assisted VA in achieving an innovative learning environment that promotes workforce development and organizational learning" The award was presented by Joy W. Hunter, Chief Learning Officer, Employee Education System at a video conference during a VA Learning Xchange Quarterly Review facilitated by MG Taylor Corporation at the Navigation Center. (back)
